There are no available controls on the front panel of the TV; there is instead a silver dial at the back side of the TV which launches a menu once pushed. The menu gives the option to adjust volume, change channels, power on and off but will not let you change the HDTV settings.

The remote control however has an advance QWERTY keyboard option which allows thumb typing.
